Growing up, I often faced comparisons. I struggled with full face breakouts, insecurities, and a quiet longing to feel seen and accepted. Back then, I didn’t dress up for myself. I dressed to impress, hoping it might make me feel beautiful.

Refreshing my wardrobe often wasn’t possible on a student budget, so I found other ways to express my style. That’s when I discovered the magic of accessories. A pair of earrings, a bold bangle, a statement necklace. They transformed even the simplest outfits and slowly they began to transform how I felt about myself.

Over time, I found my confidence. I learned to embrace who I was and dress for myself, not to be seen, but because I loved how it made me feel. But one thing stayed constant, my love for accessories and their power to elevate not just a look, but a mood.

That love eventually became Alanna Zay, A brand born from my journey, inspired by every woman discovering her own kind of beautiful.
